LJE Research

LJE grew out of a simple conviction: the best insights come from genuine partnership with the people behind the data. We design every study alongside participants from the start, so their perspectives inform not only findings but the research direction itself. Ethical practice, informed consent, and equitable compensation aren't afterthoughts — they're woven into everything we do.

Part of a National Leader in Cancer Care

City of Hope is a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center, recognized among the nation's top hospitals for cancer care for more than a decade. It's one of only a select group of institutions in the country to hold that distinction.

That reputation is built on three things working together: patient-focused care that treats the whole person, forward-focused research that moves discoveries from the lab to the patient without delay, and hope-inspired learning that trains the next generation of clinicians and scientists. Having researchers, treatment teams, and manufacturing facilities side by side is part of what sets City of Hope apart.

The Office of Health Access and Community Enrichment fosters a culture of inclusion that begins within our own workforce and extends into every community we touch. From health fairs and healthy living grants to observance events and social determinants of health initiatives, we bring care, education, and resources directly to the neighborhoods that need them most, because hope shouldn't depend on your zip code.
